Sometimes
children will exhibit disruptive behaviors simply because
they are with a group of other students. This is especially
true of children over the age of seven.
Our group
bevavioral systems work to limit negative group influence
and create more positive classroom group interaction.
We customize
our procedures to make use of the existing group structure
in order to capitalize on the benefits of group influence.
Other
procedures involve the use of empirically sound strategies
to manage the problems of impulsivity, hyperactivity and non-compliance
with classroom rules.
